Together, let’s hold hands
with the children of Haiti!
In 2025, the multidimensional crisis that had been plaguing Haiti for several years reached catastrophic and unprecedented proportions. Criminal groups, operating within the “Viv Ansanm” coalition, intensified their coordinated attacks, paralyzing the country. From the end of January to April 2025, these attacks severely disrupted the education and health sectors.

Negative Impact on Education
Access to education in Haiti is severely restricted due to persistent poverty and insecurity. In 2024 and 2025, a total of 331 schools were destroyed and attacked by armed groups. This situation deprives hundreds of thousands of children of their fundamental right to education.
Despite these alarming conditions, DFI continues to believe in education and to invest in shaping the future of young Haitians. May 4th, 2025, was a significant day for us, and it was with a sense of accomplishment that one of our AGAPE Girls,
“Rose-Darline” completed her studies and received her diploma in office computing.
